To celebrate Susan's last days of freedom, a bunch of chicks headed to the valley. We spent saturday at Manure Pile Buttress and Loggerhead, and sunday at Sunnyside Bench. Yes, we did get a little attention for being climbers, being women, and mostly being women climbers. As stated by Henry (?) at camp 4, "eight women all in one place, that's a beautiful thing". Fortunately, we stayed in Upper Pines, where our little party was not infiltrated (much) by curious men. And what exactly happened when we weren't climbing? Wouldn't you like to know! Thanks to Susan, Marjorie, Tiffany, Deb, Erika, Lynsey, Linda, Maria, Casey, and Vivian for a great weekend. -- Erin
